Job Description
Marketing Assistant supporting EnerSys, a global stored-energy solutions provider, with localized materials, campaigns, vendors, and events. Coordinating marketing operations for Sales, Product Management, and Service teams across EMEA and APAC.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate marketing projects, primarily the development and delivery of marketing materials, campaigns, events and other marketing activities across EMEA and APAC
- Provide day-to-day marketing support to Sales, Product Management and Service teams
- Assist with developing, updating and maintaining marketing materials
- Support localisation of global and regional content and materials for EMEA/APAC markets
- Coordinate translation validation and maintain validator lists and internal validator relationships
- Assist with internal bulletins, monthly reporting and marketing campaign communications
- Support development and production of marketing materials and campaign assets
- Maintain project timelines, track progress and approvals, and record budget information using Smartsheet and Monday.com
- Maintain promotional inventory through the EMEA online portal and coordinate vendor requirements
- Publish and maintain approved collateral and marketing materials across websites and internal online platforms
- Support planning and delivery of tradeshows, meetings and customer events
- Coordinate internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure products, materials and displays are delivered on time
- Attend and support key EMEA/APAC events and tradeshows as required
- Support regional marketing campaigns, including administration, content coordination, lead management and reporting
- Track campaign metrics and provide updates to the Marketing team
- Coordinate activities with external agencies, suppliers and service providers
- Prepare briefs, supply content and assets, coordinate feedback and approvals, and track delivery of marketing materials
- Support Sales and Service teams with marketing materials, training materials and other tools
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field, or equivalent relevant education/experience
- Fluency in oral and written English required
- Previous marketing experience, including internships, placements or relevant academic/project experience, is advantageous but not essential
- Experience working or studying in an international environment and/or exposure to translation or localisation activities is advantageous
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Confidence using digital communication platforms such as Microsoft Teams
- Willingness and ability to learn new systems and marketing tools, including Smartsheet, Monday.com and SharePoint
- Good attention to detail and interest in content development and proofreading
- Ability to review marketing materials for accuracy and consistency
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools is advantageous
- Well organised, motivated and willing to learn
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet agreed deadlines
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while seeking guidance when required
- Initiative, reliability and a proactive approach
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate professionally with colleagues, suppliers and internal stakeholders across different countries and functions
