Job Description
Marketing automation specialist executing email, SMS, and direct-mail campaigns for an independent wealth management firm. Building Marketing Cloud journeys, audiences, reports, and optimization tests.
Responsibilities:
- Build and test engagement plans for email, direct mail, and SMS using Marketing Automation
- Collaborate with paid media and integrated marketing to build, implement, analyze, and optimize workflows through Marketing Cloud
- Act as first responder to troubleshoot marketing automation technology issues and escalate as needed
- Build basic performance reports for acquisition and engagement programs using Dataroma in Marketing Cloud
- Perform list counts as requested
- Build Marketing Cloud audiences for prospect, client, and MCP segment sources
- Report segment improvements to the Director of Marketing Automation
- Conduct ongoing A/B testing
- Recommend improvements to performance KPIs and audience accuracy
- Establish best practices for Marketing Cloud and email development
- Use approved AI and digital tools to simplify work, improve service quality, and increase efficiency while validating outputs for accuracy, privacy, and business alignment
- Identify and escalate inaccurate information, knowledge gaps, or issues related to digital tools
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- 4 years of professional email marketing experience
- Experience in financial services industry is a plus, but not required
- Experience and/or technical expertise with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Exact Target), Eloqua, Pardot, or Marketo (Adobe Campaign), or similar marketing automation tools
- Experience with Salesforce or other major CRM
- Experience writing SQL queries preferred
- Strong communication, critical thinking, problem solving, prioritization, organization, and project management skills
- Developed and deployed A/B testing measurements and results
- Experience in using universal control groups for extracting insights (preferred)
- Certified Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist certification (or willingness to achieve certification within first year)
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office Suite
- Proficient at using AI and digital tools
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time, file documents in high or low cabinets, use the telephone, and use computer systems
