Job Description

Marketing Operations Manager owning HubSpot campaigns, data quality, attribution, and reporting. Supporting Deque’s mission-driven web accessibility software and services business.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary administrator for HubSpot Marketing Hub, including users, permissions, properties, integrations, and platform hygiene
  • Build, test, QA, and deploy email campaigns, nurture workflows, landing pages, forms, CTAs, and lists
  • QA campaigns for links, personalization tokens, rendering, mobile display, and accessibility
  • Manage the campaign calendar and keep launches on schedule
  • Maintain naming conventions, folder structure, and campaign taxonomy
  • Administer lifecycle stages, lead scoring, Signals, and MQL definitions
  • Manage sales handoffs, SLAs, and follow-up tracking
  • Maintain HubSpot/Salesforce data synchronization and resolve field mapping and data conflicts
  • Perform database hygiene, including deduplication, enrichment, segmentation, bounce management, and unengaged-contact management
  • Manage subscription preferences, suppression lists, email deliverability, sender reputation, authentication, and inbox placement
  • Build and maintain dashboards for campaign performance, funnel conversion, and pipeline contribution
  • Own UTM governance and campaign tracking
  • Deliver reporting to marketing and sales leadership and investigate data anomalies
  • Administer and integrate webinar, enrichment, event registration, advertising, and sales engagement tools
  • Support registration, lead capture, and follow-up operations for Deque events, including axe-con
  • Evaluate tools, document the martech stack, and retire redundant tools
  • Document processes for repeatable campaign execution
  • Ensure marketing emails, forms, and landing pages conform to WCAG standards
  • Maintain compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL, and related contact-data requirements

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in marketing operations, demand generation operations, or a closely related role
  • Deep, hands-on HubSpot experience, including day-to-day administration of a Marketing Hub instance
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and marketing-sales data flows
  • Demonstrated ownership of lead lifecycle design, scoring models, and routing logic
  • Strong analytical skills and spreadsheet proficiency
  • Confidence building reports and explaining data insights to non-specialists
  • Meticulous attention to detail, especially in QA
  • Clear written communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent campaigns and prioritize independently
  • Familiarity with agentic workflows and automation capabilities
  • Nice-to-have: HubSpot certifications (Marketing Hub, Marketing Software, Reporting)
  • Nice-to-have: B2B SaaS experience, particularly with a technical or developer-facing audience
  • Nice-to-have: Familiarity with WCAG, ADA, or Section 508, or genuine interest in learning them
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with SQL, a BI tool, or marketing attribution modeling
  • Nice-to-have: Experience supporting an ABM program or sales-led enterprise motion
