Job Description
Brand marketing expert designing realistic briefs, artifacts, and evaluation rubrics for Mercor’s AI-agent training environments. Reviewing agent performance across brand strategy, analytics, and multi-tool workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Design task briefs based on real brand marketing work
- Identify what each task tests, including planted issues and decisions a strong practitioner should make
- Specify required documents, dashboards, personas, and tool states for realistic tasks
- Write or review reference answers and criteria distinguishing strong responses from plausible-but-wrong responses
- Review AI agent attempts and evaluate them against practitioner standards
- Create tasks involving diagnosis of messy or conflicting data, prioritization, tradeoffs, planning, execution, QA, reconciliation, triage, escalation, research, evaluation, reporting, and multi-tool orchestration
- Work on brand and share-of-voice analysis, messaging consistency across regions and channels, distinctive asset management, and channel and tactic decisions
- Collaborate on projects training and enhancing AI systems
Requirements:
- Hands-on practitioner experience in brand marketing
- Experience owning positioning, brand tracking, and brand investment decisions
- Comfortable reading brand tracking studies, share-of-voice data, and Google Analytics 4
- Prior experience building AI training environments, RL environments, or simulated case studies strongly preferred
- Rubric Academy or Rubric Bootcamp certification strongly preferred
- Clear written reasoning and ability to explain why a decision is right
- Must complete a short multiple-choice knowledge screener specific to brand marketing
- Must work as an independent contractor
- H-1B and STEM OPT candidates are not supported
