Job Description

Medical Network Account Manager developing strategic healthcare partnerships and programs for HCF, Australia’s largest not-for-profit health fund. Improving member outcomes, network performance and service delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver business development initiatives aligned with organisational priorities
  • Identify partnership, service and market opportunities using customer, competitor and industry insights
  • Develop business cases and implementation plans for new products, services and operating models
  • Build strong relationships and influence internal teams, external partners, suppliers and industry stakeholders
  • Establish governance and performance measures to track delivery, risks and outcomes
  • Prepare commercial analysis and recommendations for senior stakeholders
  • Support partner agreements and coordinate projects across multiple workstreams
  • Drive innovation, continuous improvement and operational efficiency
  • Work across internal teams and external partners to strengthen the medical network, improve member outcomes and enhance commercial, operational and service performance
  • Develop new opportunities, assess market and stakeholder needs, support program design, and establish delivery and governance frameworks for the primary health network group

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in business development, partnership management, project delivery or strategic program implementation
  • A background in international business within Health Insurance, Health Funds or Insurance is highly desirable
  • Experience in a complex service-based, regulated or customer-focused environment
  • Strong commercial and analytical capability, including developing business cases, interpreting data and evaluating financial or operational impacts
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing and relationship management skills
  • Sound judgement, problem-solving capability and the ability to operate independently
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing recommendations, reports and executive-level updates
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in business, health, commerce, management, project management or a related discipline is desirable
  • Experience in regulated industries, supplier or partner management, service design, governance, continuous improvement or customer and member experience initiatives will be highly regarded
