Job Description

Medical Operations Associate supporting medical monitoring and drug development projects at ICON, a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation. Coordinating stakeholders, quality control, mentoring, and process improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides senior / advanced medical operations or drug development project support
  • Leads cross-functional coordination and medical / drug development project set up
  • Manages medical / drug development communication and issue escalation
  • Manages documentation, quality control, and project oversight
  • Provides staff mentoring, coaching, and oversight / coordination of junior Medical Operations Associates' workloads
  • Acts as subject matter expert for MOA / DDS processes / systems
  • Contributes to continuous process improvement
  • Manages client portfolios and standalone medical monitoring projects as required

Requirements:

  • Provides senior / advanced medical and scientific (MS) or drug development services (DDS) operational support under the guidance of the Medical Monitor/Director
  • Ensures high-quality execution in compliance with ICON standards, study protocols, and regulatory requirements
  • Legal right to work in the country where the role is based
  • Ability to provide senior / advanced medical operations or drug development project support
  • Ability to lead cross-functional coordination and medical / drug development project set up
  • Ability to manage communications, issue escalation, documentation, quality control, and project oversight
  • Ability to mentor, coach, and oversee / coordinate junior Medical Operations Associates' workloads
  • Subject matter expertise in MOA / DDS processes / systems
  • Ability to manage client portfolios and standalone medical monitoring projects
