Job Description

Mid-level Project Manager delivering banking and technology initiatives for TEKsystems. Managing Agile and Waterfall execution, stakeholders, risks, and cross-functional delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, status reports, and governance documentation
  • Coordinate cross-functional business and technology teams to drive successful project outcomes
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions as needed
  • Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and escalation processes
  • Communicate project status, key decisions, and risks to business leaders and executive stakeholders
  • Partner with business teams, vendors, and technical teams to ensure alignment and delivery success
  • Support enterprise transformation, operational improvement, and customer-facing initiatives
  • Proactively identify and remove roadblocks to maintain project momentum and delivery timelines

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience
  • Experience managing projects within the banking, credit union, financial services, or regulated financial industry
  • Experience working within an Enterprise PMO environment
  • Scrum Master, PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, or related certifications
  • Experience leading digital transformation, operational improvement, or customer experience initiatives
  • Experience supporting technology-driven projects and cross-functional teams
  • Experience working with project management tool Azure DevOps
  • Strong understanding of project management fundamentals, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder management
  • Experience delivering projects using Traditional/Waterfall methodologies and Agile and Scrum frameworks
  • Proven ability to create project plans and successfully drive execution
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across multiple organizational levels
  • Comfortable presenting project updates to managers, directors, and executive stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated history of delivering projects on time and achieving business objectives
