Job Description

National Sales Manager overseeing a team working with Home Depot and Lowe's in residential construction sales. Driving engagement, lead conversion, and growth in sales across key markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the Home Depot and Lowe's Pro ecosystems, focusing on residential construction and Home Service professionals.
  • Ensure alignment with the strategic goals of our retail partners to maximize engagement with Residential Construction Pros.
  • Utilize opportunities for lead generation and conversion within the retail partner ecosystems.
  • Implement strategies to support lead conversion and drive sales growth within the residential construction market.
  • Develop and execute plans to engage end-users and convert leads into sales.
  • Monitor and analyze lead conversion metrics to ensure targets are met.
  • Identify and cultivate new growth opportunities within the residential construction Pro Market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with trade partners, including Framers, Roofers, Trim Carpenters, Electricians, and Plumbers, to drive engagement and sales.
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow trade partnerships within each retailer.
  • Define and manage performance metrics for the team to ensure accountability and tracking of key conversion and sales metrics.
  • Regularly review and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Coordinate and deliver training programs to enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and opportunity planning for the team.
  • Ensure the team is well-equipped to maximize conversions and sales through continuous learning and development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related fields; relevant construction field experience may substitute for higher education.
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales or Marketing for Construction Supplies with a proven track record of delivering results; 3+ years of direct managerial experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, verbal and written communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
