Job Description
Neuroscience sales representative promoting CAPLYTA and educating healthcare professionals across the Salt Lake City and Denver territory. Driving compliant pharmaceutical sales for Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine.
Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed sales expectations within the assigned Salt Lake City, UT and Denver, CO territory
- Call on predominantly Primary Care HCP offices and select PC targets in person and virtually
- Educate healthcare professionals on clinical evidence, approved indications, and product efficacy and safety to support on-label prescribing
- Use assigned budgets to achieve territory objectives and customize customer interactions compliantly and ethically
- Maintain understanding of local markets, practice structures, customers, and key influencers
- Share market and customer information with internal stakeholders
- Provide input into regional resource allocation and select appropriate customer programs and resources
- Provide special education to healthcare providers through compliant programs
- Develop a local business plan with the District Manager and stakeholders
- Capitalize on formulary approvals and other business opportunities
- Collaborate with Neuroscience Sales Specialist-II colleagues and share best practices
- Manage work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communications, synchronization, samples, and expense reporting
- Complete required company and job-related training
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- 1+ years of documented success in B2B sales experience required
- Previous sales experience in pharmaceuticals, biologics, and/or medical device sales preferred
- Antipsychotic and/or bi-polar sales experience is a plus
- Strong desire and passion for improving the lives of patients and caregivers
- Act with high integrity and comply with Company policies and procedures
- Self-motivation, initiative, entrepreneurial mindset, decision-making judgment, teaming/collaboration, and cross-functional skills
- Track record of success learning and adapting in an evolving environment
- Ability to adapt to changing telemedicine/virtual environments
- Ability to analyze data/metrics, assess progress, diagnose performance issues, and identify opportunities
- Strong verbal, presentation, and listening skills
- Experience establishing customer relationships and communicating technical information to diverse audiences
- Ability to work meetings outside normal working hours
