Job Description
Pediatric nutrition sales specialist promoting Abbott’s Similac, PediaSure, and Pedialyte products. Managing physician-office territories and supporting healthcare professionals across the San Francisco area.
Responsibilities:
- Promote, manage, and grow Abbott Pediatric Nutritional products in office settings
- Develop and support territory sales goals in physician office service areas for Similac, PediaSure, and Pedialyte
- Call on Pediatric, OB/Gyn, and Family Practices
- Deliver product, clinical study, protocol, and guideline information in a selling environment
- Support new product launches
- Work with Dietitians, Physicians, and Nurses across relevant hospital departments
- Manage administrative activities and budgets
- Travel approximately 10% of the time
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of two years sales experience
- Technically knowledgeable about products, clinical studies, protocols, and guidelines
- Comprehensive knowledge of Abbott Pediatric Nutritional products
- Understanding of hospital department hierarchy, including NICU, Pediatrics, Pharmacies, Purchasing, PICU, Nurseries, and Nursing units
- Ability to work effectively with Dietitians, Physicians, and Nurses
- Effective administrative skills
- Budget management skills
- Ability to function independently with initiative, independence, and autonomy
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Local candidate residing in San Francisco, CA; no relocation offered
