Job Description
New Business Account Executive at Softengine identifying and closing net-new customers for ERP solutions. Full-cycle sales role focused on building and maintaining a healthy business pipeline.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and generate new business pipeline through outbound outreach, referrals, partner channels, and inbound lead follow-up
- Own the full sales cycle — qualification, discovery, solution scoping, demo coordination, proposal, negotiation, and close
- Partner closely with pre-sales/solution consultants to tailor product demonstrations
- Build and maintain an accurate, healthy pipeline in our CRM
- Develop and execute territory and account-based prospecting plans
- Represent Softengine at industry trade shows, webinars, and networking events
- Stay current on ERP market trends, competitive positioning, and SAP Business One/Acumatica product capabilities
- Pro-actively collaborate with Marketing on campaigns
Requirements:
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience in a quota-carrying, new-business (“hunter”) role
- ERP, SaaS, or complex business-software sales experience is a strong plus
- A track record of consistently building pipeline from scratch and closing net-new logos
- Strong consultative and discovery selling skills
- Confidence navigating multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and organized
- Proficiency with CRM and sales engagement tools
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Based in the United States, with willingness to travel occasionally
