Job Description

Payment Operations Specialist ensuring smooth transactions in multiple markets for an iGaming company. Collaborating with PSPs and managing payment setups across regions.

Responsibilities:

  • Passability Monitoring: Continuously monitors payment passability across GEOs, methods, and providers, ensuring stable transaction performance.
  • Error Analysis & Resolution: Identifies, analyzes, and resolves recurring payment-system issues, reducing failures and improving processing reliability.
  • Payment Method Availability: Tracks and controls the availability of payment methods per GEO, notifying relevant stakeholders of any cashier changes or impacts.
  • Cashier Configuration: Manages cashier setup, including limits, preset amounts, method ordering, and activation or deactivation of payment methods and providers.
  • Platform Communication: Acts as the primary contact for platform-related payment operations, ensuring timely escalation and alignment.
  • Competitive Payment Analysis: Conducts ongoing competitive analysis of cashier performance, payment experience, and method coverage to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Local Testing Coordination: Performs and coordinates local testing - deposit validations, method visibility checks, and user flow reviews - to ensure operational readiness and quality.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in the iGaming industry is required.
  • Experience working with the SoftSwiss platform (payment module, back-office, integrations).
  • Hands-on experience with payment service providers (PSPs) in iGaming projects.
  • Deep understanding of payment processes in iGaming (chargebacks, refunds, deposits, withdrawals).
  • Knowledge of major payment methods in Tier 1 markets.
  • Understanding of key payment metrics (AR FTD / STD / USER / TRX, deposit and withdrawal fees) and awareness of their impact on business performance.
  • Practical experience using Jira for task management, bug tracking, and team collaboration.
