Job Description
People & Talent Lead owning recruitment and People operations for Kestra, an open-source orchestration platform. Scaling hiring, onboarding and employee processes across France, Germany and international teams.
Responsibilities:
- Own recruitment from sourcing through signed offer
- Find and engage candidates, conduct initial conversations, coordinate focused interview processes and maintain a reliable ATS
- Prioritise roles with founders and functional leaders and support hiring-manager decisions
- Coordinate people operations across countries, including contracts, payroll partners, EOR providers, benefits, time off and employee requests
- Maintain clear records and deadlines and work with local providers and advisers on employment requirements
- Deliver smooth onboarding and help managers provide new joiners with clear expectations, context and relationships
- Develop and run compensation and performance processes, including salary reviews, levels, performance reviews and equity administration such as BSPCE
- Organise all-hands and the company offsite, strengthen internal communication and build distributed-team collaboration routines
- Provide founders with information on hiring, headcount and employment costs and identify bottlenecks
- Simplify processes, automate repetitive work and coordinate with Administration, Workplace Operations and Finance teams
- Guide managers, challenge them when necessary and agree priorities with founders
Requirements:
- Experience combining People and Talent in a growing company
- Experience sourcing candidates, assessing them with hiring managers and closing offers
- Experience recruiting technical and business profiles across functions and markets
- Practical knowledge of international employment, including EOR providers, payroll partners and local advisers
- Strong operational judgment
- Comfortable using an ATS, HRIS and payroll platforms
- Ability to handle sensitive information carefully and follow through on details
- Ability to introduce, operate and improve useful processes without unnecessary complexity
- Fluent professional English
- French or German is useful for working with local employees and providers, but is not stated as required
- Experience in developer tools or open source, operations or consulting, or supporting US employment from Europe would be valuable, but is not stated as required
