Job Description

Field Sales Representative managing sales territories for 3M's Consumer Business Group. Establishing customer relationships and driving sales for various product lines in home improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive 3M sales and revenue to assigned distribution in managed territories
  • Manage multiple active sales opportunities at several end user sites and locations
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships through a comprehensive understanding of the customer’s business/sales models
  • Introduce new products and communicate promotions to relevant customers and prospects
  • Present and reinforce 3M value proposition to differentiate 3M from competitive offerings
  • Maintain and update a working sales plan with strategies and tactics to achieve annual sales forecasts
  • Share best practices with the team to promote a positive team environment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
  • One (1) year of combined experience in Outside Sales/Inside Sales in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Current, Valid Driver’s license is required
  • Account management experience is a plus
  • Salesforce.com experience is desired
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment
  • Previous home improvement / construction related experience preferred
  • Ability to speak English and Spanish fluently preferred
