Job Description

Procurement & BizOps Team Lead overseeing procurement team and processes for social discovery company. Managing vendors, budgets, and digital tools in a remote environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, mentor, and develop an existing team of procurement specialists; optimize the workload within the team, and establish clear KPIs/SLAs.
  • Review and improve current procurement workflows to reduce bureaucracy and speed up the purchasing cycle.
  • Oversee and control the procurement budget; allocate financial resources across different teams and projects based on company priorities.
  • Track expenditures, predict future procurement costs, and prevent budget overruns.
  • Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers to achieve better pricing, discount programs, and flexible payment terms (e.g., deferred payments).
  • Oversee purchases of software, licenses, and IT services.
  • Analyze and manage long-term commitment contracts to maximize cost-efficiency.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of all orders, contracts, and payments in 1C and Jira.

Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of experience as a Team Lead, Lead Procurement Specialist in IT domains
  • Proven experience in mentoring, coaching, or restructuring processes within an existing team.
  • Proven experience in budget planning, tracking costs, and managing financial allocations for multiple departments or teams.
  • Ability to analyze financial data, create budget reports.
  • Advanced user of 1C (ERP, Trade Management, or similar modules) and Jira/Confluence for task tracking.
  • Strong skills in Excel.
  • Strong track record of successful business negotiations and achieving proven cost savings (Savings).
  • Ability to act as a bridge between internal technical teams (engineers/developers) and the finance/accounting department.
  • High level of integrity, transparency, and strict adherence to anti-corruption and compliance standards.
