Job Description
Project Developer managing wind energy project development, negotiations, and external partner coordination. Engaging with local communities, stakeholders, and ensuring project compliance in Hamburg area.
Responsibilities:
- Develop wind energy projects from identifying suitable sites and acquiring land through to preparing the site concept
- Negotiate and conclude land agreements (usage, lease or purchase contracts)
- Establish contact with municipalities, land managers and landowners
- Contract management and oversight of properties
- Attend municipal council meetings and relevant events
- Networking and association activities in the region
- Commission specialist reports from external consultants
- Present the project to municipalities, owners and other project stakeholders
- Prepare and support private-law site-securement measures in cooperation with the Real Estate/Property team
- Coordinate all internal and external project partners
Requirements:
- Degree in Geography, Spatial Planning, Engineering or a related field, or demonstrable several years of professional experience and practical competence in this area
- Several years of experience in early project planning or sales, ideally in a comparable role within renewable energy or real estate
- Strong communication skills, empathy and negotiating ability
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility
- Knowledge of contract and property/land law is an advantage
- Identification with renewable energy and a high willingness to travel
- Driver's license (Class B)
- Business-fluent German
