Job Description

Remote recruitment specialist sourcing and onboarding education staff, including substitutes for child-serving roles. Managing interviews, records, and urgent staffing coverage.

Responsibilities:

  • Post job openings on recruitment platforms, including Indeed and LinkedIn
  • Review applications, screen resumes, and conduct candidate interviews
  • Recruit and coordinate personnel for positions involving work with children
  • Identify, contact, and coordinate substitute staff when scheduled personnel are absent
  • Respond promptly to urgent staffing requests and ensure positions are covered
  • Coordinate candidate schedules, interviews, onboarding, and required documentation
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and update recruitment tracking systems
  • Follow client training, staffing procedures, and documentation requirements
  • Communicate proactively with candidates and staff to ensure smooth coordination and minimize staffing gaps
  • Perform other duties related to the position as assigned

Requirements:

  • Proficient level of English (written and spoken)
  • Previous experience in recruitment, staffing coordination, or human resources
  • Experience conducting interviews and using recruitment platforms such as Indeed and LinkedIn
  • Experience in a school, childcare, or community-based environment serving diverse families and children is highly preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with standard business tools (email, spreadsheets, document management)
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems, software, and workflows
  • Ability to follow established processes accurately with minimal supervision
  • Availability to work full-time, with required coverage from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM New York time and flexibility in scheduling remaining hours
  • Able to undergo a background check
  • Reliable Windows 10+ computer, two monitors, and high-speed internet
  • Reliable backup power source (e.g., power bank, UPS, inverter, or generator)
  • Professional home workstation capable of supporting uninterrupted remote work
  • Excellent communication, organizational, time-management, multitasking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to respond quickly to urgent staffing needs and adapt to changing priorities
