Job Description

Regional Account Manager driving municipal water-treatment aftermarket parts and service sales for Trojan Technologies. Managing Southwest territory accounts, forecasts, funnels, proposals, and customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed aftermarket parts and service sales targets by building long-term customer relationships
  • Prepare sales forecasts
  • Lead a sales funnel of opportunities
  • Present weekly, monthly, and quarterly critical metrics and initiatives/countermeasures to internal and external partners
  • Work alongside the Inside Sales Account Manager
  • Build quotes and proposals to drive project business
  • Develop monthly sales territory, account plans, and customer engagement
  • Prepare and present monthly funnel reviews using SFDC
  • Prepare and present monthly forecasts in SFDC
  • Collect and report competitive activity, business opportunities, sales trends, and results
  • Participate in customer site visits, telephone contacts, trade seminars and shows, customer seminars, and channel management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Technical degree in Business or a science-related field such as Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or equivalent
  • Five or more years of B2B sales, territory management, account management, or technical commercial experience
  • Able to travel up to 50% of the time in the assigned territory
  • Knowledge of the municipal water treatment market
  • Aftermarket parts and service experience
  • Experience selling complex products, services, equipment, or solutions to municipal, utility, industrial, or other regulated customers
  • Hands-on experience using a CRM, such as Salesforce.com
