Job Description

Key Account Manager promoting Secura Bio’s Copiktra oncology therapy to targeted healthcare providers. Driving compliant sales growth across Florida and Puerto Rico.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote Copiktra and other approved drugs fairly and consistently with approved indications
  • Educate health care providers on the on-label use of Copiktra using approved promotional materials
  • Develop and execute territory business plans aligned with corporate strategic objectives
  • Conduct monthly business reviews, analyze progress, identify opportunities and risks, and implement data-driven adjustments
  • Achieve on-label sales growth and meet sales targets and performance metrics
  • Monitor operating costs and manage the territory budget
  • Identify key practice decision-makers
  • Conduct promotional presentations, informational in-services, and educational programs
  • Support commercial presence at appropriate medical congresses in the territory
  • Engage Medical Science Liaisons and Medical Affairs contacts to address customer questions
  • Collaborate with Market Development, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Marketing teams
  • Comply with Secura Bio policies and applicable laws
  • Report to the VP, US Sales, Market Access and Operations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PharmD, or related discipline) preferred
  • Minimum 8 years of successful pharmaceutical or biotechnology sales experience
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience calling on Medical Oncologists, Hematologists, and/or oncology practices
  • Experience launching new products or promoting products in competitive markets
  • Ability to understand, retain, and communicate complex clinical, efficacy, and safety data
  • Strong grasp of oncology/hematology disease states and treatment paradigms
  • Capability to engage in scientific discussions with highly trained medical professionals
  • Strategic territory planning and business plan development experience
  • Strong analytical skills to assess territory opportunities and track performance metrics
  • Thorough understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations (FDA, PhRMA Code, OIG guidelines)
  • Commitment to ethical selling practices and promoting products within approved indications
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (Medical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing)
  • Ability to work in the State of Florida and Puerto Rico
