Job Description
Regional Account Manager maintaining accounts and driving ALK allergy-product sales across Central and South Florida. Managing healthcare-provider relationships, territory growth, CRM activity, and frequent regional travel.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain current base business and drive sales growth for ALK AIT products, including Bulk Extracts and future pharmaceutical products
- Leverage existing account relationships and work with KOLs and thought-leaders to develop sales of prescriptive products within the assigned territory
- Assess customer needs and present products and services, including AIT, VAS, ALK Advantage Program, and consulting services
- Contact top accounts monthly to maintain vendor-of-choice status
- Identify and call on competitors' top accounts to present ALK product lines and coordinate appointments for sales management and scientific services teams
- Prospect non-allergist ENTs to promote allergy testing and treatment and persuade them to use ALK
- Review monthly sales reports to identify sales trends
- Keep Outlook calendar updated with appointments and planned travel, including a required 60-day schedule
- Enter account status, comments, and competitive information into the CRM after every sales interaction, with a weekly minimum of 30 updates
- Complete monthly expense reports through Concur
- Maintain target account lists and provide monthly sales-management updates on prospects, top accounts, account performance, new business, proposals, and product promotions
- Maintain sample inventory and comply with applicable rules and regulations
- Review third-party papers, marketing materials, and product inserts
- Participate in ALK sales training courses
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Marketing preferred
- Ability to complete and analyze the Monthly Report to make decisions and draw conclusions about the status of the territory
- Ability to recognize trends and notice competitive influence on the territory
- Ability to bring in increased revenue to hit quarterly and annual quotas, updated weekly
- Ability to recognize and communicate changes in the allergy marketplace, including economic, political, technical, or competitive changes
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to complete work within timelines and quality parameters
- Ability to meet customer and profitability requirements
- Heavy travel required, including approximately 2–3 overnights per week and 3–5 company-related weekend events per year
