Job Description
Regional Sales Manager launching Halter’s virtual-fencing technology with Argentine cattle farmers. Building the first local customers, sales processes, and team from the ground up.
Responsibilities:
- Source new leads and opportunities through proactive outreach, referrals, industry events, other channels, and inbound inquiries
- Manage the sales pipeline through close, including screening, qualifying, on-farm demonstrations, and contract negotiation
- Help establish and manage quotas, commissions, and other sales-management processes as the local team grows
- Coach, mentor, and develop future sales staff
- Collaborate with Customer Success on post-sales handoff, implementation, customer satisfaction, and account renewal
- Build customer relationships and provide support while customers wait for deployment
- Participate in relevant industry and Halter events and demonstrations
- Build industry relationships and establish Halter's brand in a new market
- Provide customer feedback to inform the product roadmap
- Optimize and evolve the sales process as the company scales
Requirements:
- At least five years of end-to-end sales experience
- Proven success sourcing prospects, securing meetings, and creating new sales opportunities
- Extensive value-based sales experience with a history of closing deals and achieving high-volume sales results
- Solid communication skills to present Halter's value proposition
- Experience in beef farming or the agricultural sector is highly desirable
- Results-driven, highly motivated, and exceptional time management skills
- Adaptability in a high-stakes sales environment and ability to think on your feet
- Comfort with the ambiguity of building in a new market is a plus
- Sales experience in the technology-based industry is preferred
- Fluency in Spanish
- Professional working English
- A university degree or equivalent would be excellent but is not a must
