Job Description

Regional Sales Manager driving sales growth for Consolidated Relief Valves at Baker Hughes. Leading customer engagement and strategic initiatives in the Northeastern US regions.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing targeted campaigns to increase sales of Consolidated pressure release valves to key end user and other industry influence centers: primary focus is the aftermarket.
  • Managing complex sales processes requiring involvement of many stakeholders both at the client side and internally.
  • Working closely with regional sales managers & channel partners to engage directly with end users and key customer influence centers to drive growth.
  • Conducting sales calls to key customers with regional Channel Partners and direct calls to strategic corporate accounts and major regional influence centers
  • Leading the collaboration with multidisciplinary teams internally (e.g. engineering, legal, risk, finance, communication, marketing etc) to develop and articulate the winning value proposition

Requirements:

  • bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (or HS/GED with 10 years of related valve experience)
  • 5yrs+ of experience in application engineering, industrial sales, or customer service with consolidated valves
  • Results-oriented mindset, with experience of successfully originating sales, working to targets and growing business
  • Demonstrate experience of working with cross-functional teams within a global-matrix environment
  • Availability to travel for business at least 50% of the time
  • Good customer engagement skills and ability to foster and develop long term strategic partnerships
