Job Description
Regional Talent Partner delivering Biffa’s career development programmes and talent initiatives. Supporting succession planning, learning design and capability growth at a UK waste-management company.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of Biffa’s Accelerate career development programmes
- Design and facilitate workshops, learning events, action learning activities and other development interventions
- Partner with business leaders and People teams on talent needs, talent reviews, succession planning and high-potential talent pipelines
- Advise on talent development, learning interventions and career pathways
- Translate business priorities into practical solutions that improve individual and organisational performance
- Manage programme logistics, communications, learner engagement and stakeholder involvement
- Design learner-centred solutions using facilitated learning, digital learning, social learning, coaching and experiential development
- Measure participation, engagement, knowledge transfer and business impact
- Use data and learner feedback to evaluate effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
- Build relationships across Biffa and with internal and external partners
Requirements:
- Experience in a Talent, Learning & Development, Organisational Development or similar role
- Proven track record of delivering effective people development initiatives
- Experience designing, delivering and evaluating learning and development solutions
- Ideally, experience owning development programmes from concept through evaluation
- Strong understanding of learning design, talent management, succession planning and career development practices
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Ability to build credible relationships with managers and leaders at all levels
- Strong facilitation, presentation and communication skills
- Confidence engaging and inspiring diverse audiences
- Creative, learner-focused and continuous improvement mindset
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to use data and insight to demonstrate impact
