Job Description

Key Account Manager growing Solenis cleaning, food safety, and sanitation solutions for retail and food service customers. Managing strategic accounts, new business, and customer partnerships across Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers through regular engagement, business reviews, and strategic account planning
  • Increase account penetration, customer loyalty, and revenue growth by improving current programs and introducing new solutions
  • Engage customers at all organizational levels to align business goals, review performance metrics, and communicate industry trends, products, and innovations
  • Generate new business through prospecting, networking, partner collaboration, lead generation campaigns, and social selling
  • Achieve sales and profitability targets through customer acquisition, retention, and account expansion
  • Identify, present, and close multi-product solutions through demonstrations, presentations, and training programs
  • Provide ongoing customer support and training across customer locations
  • Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, technical, and support teams
  • Maintain forecasting, budgeting, CRM updates, expense reporting, and other administrative responsibilities
  • Comply with company safety policies and use appropriate PPE
  • Manage assigned accounts and create value through technical service, identifying new product opportunities, and selling to existing customers
  • Maintain revenue, price capture, and gross profit while supporting new business where appropriate

Requirements:

  • Proven success in strategic account management and business development
  • Experience in commercial cleaning applications, chemical sales, and food service
  • Strong understanding of retail and food service operations
  • Knowledge of food safety programs and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in data analysis, business reviews, and customer performance reporting
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to influence stakeholders from executive leadership to frontline operations
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and Salesforce CRM
  • Ability to travel overnight, 30-50%
  • Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
