Job Description

Public Relations Manager shaping Seismic’s B2B go-to-market story through PR, executive visibility, awards and research. Managing agency partnerships and media opportunities across the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage PR agency partnerships in North America and EMEA, including setting priorities, reviewing deliverables and aligning work with business goals
  • Write and edit press releases, messaging documents, contributed articles, executive thought leadership, media briefing documents and other communications
  • Lead the awards strategy, calendar and submissions
  • Support original and third-party research initiatives and extend findings through earned, owned and shared channels
  • Identify timely media opportunities and develop pitches and responses to media inquiries
  • Support executive visibility through media interview preparation, speaking opportunities and thought leadership
  • Collaborate with Talent, Product, Executive Leadership and Marketing teams on stories, campaigns and announcements
  • Track coverage, awards and program performance; share results and improve future communications
  • Strengthen Seismic’s share of voice across traditional and emerging media, including AI-powered search and answer engines

Requirements:

  • 4–7 years of public relations or communications experience
  • Track record of developing stories, managing projects and delivering results
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with and without AI support
  • Ability to adapt writing to different executive voices and use AI thoughtfully while maintaining accuracy, originality and quality
  • Strong news judgment
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for PR
  • Ability to think ahead and prioritize
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Executive presence and sound judgment
  • Initiative and ownership
  • Strong time management and attention to detail
  • PR agency experience, or a mix of agency and in-house experience (nice to have)
  • Experience in technology or B2B software (nice to have)
  • Experience managing agency partners, leading awards programs or turning research findings into compelling stories (nice to have)
