Job Description
Revenue Operations and CRM Systems Specialist analyzing SaaS revenue tools for 24-MAG’s AI training and systems-alignment projects. Documenting policies, data conflicts, and operational decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse CRM, billing, ticketing, and related operational data across SaaS revenue workflows
- Identify misaligned system behaviour, operational logic, and business policies
- Review interconnected systems for inconsistencies, outdated configurations, and process gaps
- Assess downstream effects of changes across related platforms
- Surface and document conflicting policies, outdated automations, duplicate entities, and permissions mismatches
- Evaluate ambiguous processes and competing rules for complex scenarios
- Document exceptions and edge cases requiring additional judgement
- Evaluate the desired state of operational and revenue data
- Identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, and logical conflicts across connected systems
- Define corrections while preserving data integrity and operational continuity
- Assess cascading impacts before recommending or applying changes
- Draft operational prompts, recommendations, and handling instructions
- Record reasoning behind proposed changes, including intentionally unchanged areas
- Produce detailed documentation for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Explain operational trade-offs, policy interpretations, and system dependencies
- Help establish transparent and reproducible decision-making across revenue operations workflows
Requirements:
- 5–10 years of hands-on experience in revenue operations, sales operations, customer success operations, SaaS implementation, onboarding, or a closely related discipline
- Direct experience owning and configuring CRM systems rather than solely managing teams responsible for configuration
- Practical experience configuring fields, workflows, validation rules, permissions, and related CRM functionality
- Experience working with at least two adjacent SaaS revenue tools such as billing or subscription management, CPQ or quoting, ticketing or support, project tracking, or automation and integration platforms
- Strong understanding of interconnected revenue systems and the impact of cascading operational changes
- Experience within SaaS environments, particularly fintech, healthtech, insurtech, or other businesses with complex multi-product implementations, is advantageous
- Strong ability to assess ambiguous policies, operational exceptions, and conflicting system rules
- Comfortable documenting nuanced decisions involving renewals, entitlement changes, and other complex revenue processes
- Strong attention to data accuracy, reporting integrity, and operational consistency
- Professional English proficiency with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to articulate detailed operational reasoning and trade-offs clearly
- No prior experience in AI research or model training is required
- Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, institution, or other third party
