Job Description

Sales Leader growing enterprise accounts for Nielsen’s Gracenote entertainment metadata business. Driving global sales strategy, team performance, and partnerships with major media companies.

Responsibilities:

  • Build the enterprise customer segment commercial vision 3–5 years out
  • Partner with Sales Engineering on the commercial vision
  • Define and execute the enterprise commercial strategy and roadmap in the near and long term, in the US and globally
  • Manage the Enterprise Sales Team
  • Lead commercial initiatives to drive focused growth across products or go-to-market efforts
  • Develop senior-level relationships with major media companies
  • Support the team in growing enterprise business
  • Implement improvements to ensure Gracenote continually grows and improves
  • Travel up to 50% of the time for client meetings, industry events, and team collaboration

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience leading high-performing sales teams for enterprise clients
  • 5–10 years of experience as an individual contributor sales representative
  • Proven track record managing B2B data clients
  • Experience leading enterprise account sales teams
  • Experience in the Media & Entertainment sector or related fields
  • Ability to communicate succinctly to C-level executives
  • Proven growth record as an individual contributor and enterprise account sales team leader
  • Knowledge of the TV, movie, and sports media landscape
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with market analysis and identifying product differentiation opportunities
  • Experience with sales methodologies including pipeline, ROH, and Salesforce
  • Leadership, professionalism, and temperament to motivate organizational change and advance client partnerships
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
  • Experience in relevant industries such as media publishing, OTT, streaming, Connected TV (CTV), or broadcast media
  • SaaS and subscription sales experience
