Job Description
Sales Director leading Texas direct-sales representatives for Elavon, U.S. Bank’s payment-solutions subsidiary. Driving revenue, market growth, customer relationships, and team performance from a home-based role.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Direct Sales Representatives within the assigned Texas territory
- Manage a direct sales team selling assigned products and services within a designated geographic region or industry segment
- Lead self-generated business development through prospecting, networking, referrals, and outbound activities
- Develop revenue, volume, and market share objectives
- Establish and achieve sales and budget goals
- Execute marketing strategies for products and services
- Build and maintain profitable customer relationships
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity
- Develop and administer the annual budget for the assigned area
- Cultivate relationships with industry associations and community networks
- Train, motivate, coach, and provide daily leadership to the sales team
- Travel as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically eight to 10 years of relevant experience
- Ability to travel
- Advanced knowledge of sales and sales strategies
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong management and leadership skills
- Demonstrated new business development and relationship management skills
- Effective customer service/relations skills
- Thorough knowledge of banking products/services, banking operations, and current market trends
- Ability to make important decisions independently
- Applicants must be able to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies
