Job Description
Sales Leader growing global strategic accounts for Nielsen’s Gracenote entertainment metadata business. Shaping commercial strategy, leading enterprise sales, and monetizing client solutions across media and technology.
Responsibilities:
- Create the strategic accounts commercial vision 3–5 years out based on industry knowledge, client needs, and internal feedback
- Partner with Sales Engineering on the strategic accounts vision
- Define and execute the strategic accounts commercial strategy and roadmap in the near and long term, in the US and globally
- Manage the Strategic Accounts Sales Team
- Lead key commercial initiatives to drive focused growth across specific products or go-to-market efforts
- Implement improvements within the group to ensure Gracenote is continually growing and improving
- Drive growth with Gracenote’s top global strategic accounts
- Develop and monetize solutions addressing significant client needs
- Travel for client meetings, industry events, and team collaboration
- Be onsite or remote with customers at least twice per month
Requirements:
- 10 years of experience leading high-performing sales teams for enterprise clients
- Team leadership experience building and fostering a collaborative enterprise account selling approach
- Ability to communicate and articulate succinctly to C-level executives at Gracenote and strategic clients
- Proven growth record as an individual contributor and enterprise accounts sales team leader
- 5–10 years of experience as an individual contributor sales representative with a proven track record managing B2B data clients
- Passion for and knowledge of the TV, movie, and sports media landscape
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills for small client groups and larger audiences
- Strategic thinking, market analysis, and product differentiation experience
- Experience with sales methodologies including pipeline, ROH, and Salesforce
- Leadership, professionalism, and temperament to motivate company-wide direction and support for major opportunities
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
- SaaS and subscription sales experience
- Experience in relevant industries such as OTT, streaming, Connected TV (CTV), or broadcast media
- Experience with metadata content operations is a plus, including Gracenote, TMS, ROVI, or other structured entertainment or sports data companies
