Job Description
Sales Representative for medical supplies developing relationships with physician offices in Baton Rouge and New Orleans. Responsible for growing territory and managing customer base with a strong sales background.
Responsibilities:
- Growing and developing a territory of residual based medical supplies
- Selling disposables, exam gloves, point of care tests, capital and diagnostics
- Building relationships with physician offices and hospital based practices
- Making new calls daily to develop new customers
- Working with manufacturers to present products to the physician community
- Preparing and delivering quotations for product
- Developing long term relationships with customer base
- Preparing and maintaining a territory plan
- Training and learning new items to present to customers
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or at least 3 years of quota-based sales experience
- 5 years of quota-based sales experience in cold calling, commissioned, full-cycle sales experience
- Track record of demonstrable sales growth and quota attainment
- Ability to present multiple product lines
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Stable work history
- Computer proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to drive and travel in car 90% of each day and interact with healthcare providers on site
