Job Description
SAP Basis Administrator responsible for the operation and development of SAP S/4HANA systems. Join NORDFROST, a leader in deep-freeze logistics, in shaping the future of IT.
Responsibilities:
- Operation and maintenance of our SAP S/4HANA landscape (2nd level, on-premise, cloud, hybrid)
- Further development of the SAP system landscape and interfaces to SAP and non‑SAP systems
- Technical point of contact for SAP projects and advisory support to business units (ERP, EWM, BW/BI/BO)
- Active participation and technical responsibility in SAP RISE projects (planning, execution and transition to operations)
- Monitoring, incident management and performance analysis
- Support for migrations of legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA
- Installation, configuration and upgrades of SAP systems and components
- Ensuring high availability, backup strategies and recovery tests
- User and authorization management including role concepts and audit preparation
- Performing system and client copies as well as system migrations
- Implementation and monitoring of security measures
- Documentation of system architectures and technical processes
Requirements:
- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent education with relevant further training
- At least 8 years of professional experience in SAP Basis administration of heterogeneous and complex system landscapes
- Demonstrable experience in successfully executing SAP RISE projects
- Strong knowledge of SAP HANA / SAP S/4HANA on Linux and Windows, as well as traditional databases (Oracle, MS SQL, DB2)
- Extensive experience in high availability, optimization and performance analysis
- Experience with automation of operational procedures (e.g. SAP Solution Manager, scripting)
- Very good understanding of software and system architectures
- Advantageous: experience with transport management, SolMan, BusinessObjects, Xiting, load balancers, SWAN, SSO
- Knowledge of cloud technologies (SAP Cloud, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
- Very good German and English language skills
