Job Description

Senior Business Development Manager expanding Global University Systems’ international student recruitment through B2B agencies. Home-based in Brazil with travel for marketing activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee student recruitment activities, business development activities, account management, and marketing events for B2B channels
  • Manage activities across the assigned country or region
  • Collaborate with Company Directors to develop B2B channels
  • Implement marketing and sales strategies to promote international student recruitment
  • Represent a Global University Systems university or college located in Europe, North America, or Asia
  • Develop and maintain agency and business partner relationships
  • Deliver workshops, presentations, conferences, and marketing activities
  • Report to the senior stakeholder and directly represent the university or college brand

Requirements:

  • Experience with international student recruitment for Higher Education
  • Established and relevant agency network and solid relationships with key agency stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of industry trends for strategic planning and forecasting
  • Experience developing and training education agents to promote a represented brand
  • Experience sourcing agents through fairs, business trips, enquiries, referrals, and general searches
  • Experience generating new revenue from existing streams and accounts and identifying new opportunities
  • Proven track record supporting potential business partners and growing existing client relationships
  • Experience performing client research and engaging with key industry players
  • Confidence delivering workshops, presentations, conferences, and on-camera presentations
  • Salesforce or database management experience is desirable
  • Applicants may have represented an institution directly or have significant agency experience managing a sub-network of agents
  • Ideally located in Brazil and able to travel with ease
