Job Description

Senior Capacity Manager ensuring efficient capacity planning and resource management at 8x8. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive successful strategic outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to build and develop high-level plans and t-shirt estimates for potential new initiatives.
  • Manage the ongoing planning process by responding to new priorities as they arise.
  • Assess teams capacity to ensure workloads are balanced and achievable.
  • Work with team leads to ensure up to date allocation data is stored in our system of record.
  • Proactively manage and monitor team commitments within areas of ownership.
  • Ensure accuracy and data hygiene in the ongoing management of published timelines and area roadmaps.

Requirements:

  • Highly analytical, well-organized, and capable of managing multiple work streams simultaneously.
  • Proficient in working with data, generating insights, and creating impactful reports.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Technical Program/Project Manager experience.
  • Possesses a technical background and the ability to grasp high-level technical aspects related to the design and implementation of software products.
  • Skilled at understanding requirements and effectively engaging with both technical and business-focused stakeholders.
  • Experience with using Jira.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
