Job Description
Senior Content Editor leading strategic educational projects at INICIE. Requires strong leadership, academic expertise, and excellence in content production.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, pre-edit, and edit original digital instructional materials, ensuring conceptual accuracy, pedagogical progression, continuous updating, and textual clarity.
- Validate the pedagogical suitability of texts, illustrations, and activities, ensuring the material is fluid and functional for digital delivery.
- Ensure that content strictly adheres to our competency framework, organically integrating the BNCC (Brazil's National Common Curricular Base, including Computing) and UNESCO's pillars.
- Maintain a productive dialogue with authors and content creators, resolving conceptual questions and aligning deliverables.
- Serve as a reference for instructional designers and other collaborators, validating model chapters and ensuring the company's methodological guide is the quality standard for production.
- Create and maintain style guides, checklists, and naming conventions that ensure consistency and the identity of collections.
- Propose and validate interactive resources (videos, simulators, gamification) that complement the student journey and meet accessibility criteria.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in senior roles or technical leadership, with direct responsibility for defining editorial standards, large-scale pedagogical validation, and content quality.
- Bachelor's degree (Education degree or related fields).
- Excellent command of the Portuguese language (writing, proofreading, and content curation).
- Familiarity with the Portuguese Orthographic Reform.
- Experience creating and/or validating digital learning objects (slides, eBooks, forms, infographics).
- Advanced ability to synthesize and organize content.
- Experience producing educational content in digital environments.
- Critical, detail-oriented profile with a strong quality focus.
