Job Description

Senior Manager of Payroll & Benefits at Big Brothers Big Sisters of America overseeing payroll execution and ensuring compliance in benefits administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end processing of semi-monthly payroll
  • Serve as primary point of contact for payroll inquiries and corrections
  • Administer employee benefits programs
  • Analyze and assess related benefit needs and trends
  • Prepare and deliver clear employee communications related to benefits
  • Partner with vendors to resolve system issues and implement enhancements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience
  • 5-8 years experience managing payroll required
  • 5 years of experience with HRIS systems required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Solution-oriented; advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
