Job Description
Senior Marketing Automation Specialist creating responsive email and push campaigns for Apply Digital’s Martech clients. Implementing dynamic logic, APIs, QA testing, and platform workflows across leading marketing automation tools.
Responsibilities:
- Produce email templates and push notifications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for a wide variety of clients
- Collaborate with email developers and customer success managers to resolve issues in email deployments
- Participate in email stand-ups to prioritize workload and complete tasks on time
- Work with client teams to handle requests, answer questions, and collaborate on work-in-progress tasks
- Ensure emails comply with client standards, email marketing best practices, and CAN-SPAM laws
- Test email messages using tools such as Litmus and Email on Acid
- Develop CSS styling and implement platform-specific code for dynamic template logic
- QA and test completed coding in various marketing platforms with clients
- Implement programs inside marketing platforms, make mock API calls using tools such as Postman, handle edge cases, and filter users into different flows
Requirements:
- 5+ years of email production and development experience
- Mastery of HTML and CSS specific to email
- Proficiency with JSON
- Understanding of APIs and proficiency making GET and POST calls
- Understanding of how data feeds work
- Understanding of email code structure and responsive email coding for different devices
- Strong email etiquette and ability to communicate directly with clients regarding testing, QC, and updates
- Ability to take feedback, clarify it, and make adjustments as needed
- Platform experience with Iterable, Braze, Klaviyo, Marketo, Simon Data, or Blueshift (ideal)
- Knowledge of Liquid or Python, Handlebars, Django, or JINJA (ideal)
- Proficiency with Photoshop and Figma (ideal)
