Job Description

Senior marketing/media specialist creating accessible AI education content for Aptive’s Veterans Health Administration clients. Combining interactive design, front-end programming, multimedia production, and outreach analytics to support federal healthcare communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a comprehensive outreach and communications strategy for VHA AI Education Hub developments, milestones, and resources across the Veterans Health Administration enterprise
  • Develop interactive digital media assets, including web-based modules, animations, and data visualizations
  • Collaborate with Hub leadership, subject matter experts, and VA stakeholders to translate complex AI and healthcare concepts into clear, accessible communications
  • Manage and maintain the AI Education Hub web presence, keeping content current, Section 508 compliant, and usable across devices and VA network environments
  • Produce and edit videos, infographics, newsletters, and presentations for VA intranet portals, email campaigns, and leadership briefings
  • Track, analyze, and report outreach performance using analytics tools and provide data-driven recommendations to improve engagement and communication effectiveness

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in marketing, digital media production, interactive design, or a closely related communications field
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Computer Science, or a related discipline is required
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a VA Personal Identity Verification (PIV) card and satisfy background investigation requirements for VA systems and facilities
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
  • Proficiency in graphical design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
  • Proficiency in front-end programming languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Federal agency, government healthcare, or VA/DoD experience strongly desired
  • Experience with Section 508-compliant digital content and federal accessibility standards desired
  • Familiarity with VA intranet platforms such as SharePoint, TMS learning management systems, or VA.gov desired
  • Experience communicating artificial intelligence, data science, or health technology concepts to non-technical audiences desired
  • Experience using web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics desired
  • Knowledge of federal plain language standards and the Plain Writing Act desired
