Job Description

Senior Oncology Account Specialist promoting Pfizer’s cancer therapies to Oregon healthcare providers. Managing oncology accounts, KOL relationships, and demand generation across the territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote Pfizer’s product portfolio to health care providers and specialists
  • Educate members of the healthcare community regarding the appropriate use of Pfizer products
  • Call on accounts and organized customers to improve patients’ experience with Pfizer products and the overall quality of patient care
  • Increase Pfizer’s brand with high-value target customers
  • Assess account and business landscapes and connect insights with knowledge of Pfizer products and resources
  • Promote a broad portfolio of products
  • Generate demand for Pfizer products in assigned accounts
  • Develop comprehensive territory, account and customer plans
  • Maintain relationships throughout institutions
  • Gain access to difficult-to-see healthcare providers and customers
  • Cultivate relationships with KOLs and build lasting relationships with priority customers
  • Assess target physician and account needs and address them with appropriate resources
  • Engage, influence and support customers throughout the selling process
  • Work in a matrix environment and leverage multiple resources to meet customer needs and deliver results

Requirements:

  • BA/BS Degree from an accredited institution OR an associate’s degree with 8+ years of experience OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Ability to travel domestically and stay overnight as necessary
  • Valid US driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards
  • Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify you from being hired
  • Minimum of 4 years of previous Pharmaceutical Sales experience or minimum of 4 years of previous Oncology Healthcare Professional (HCP) experience working with key Oncology thought leaders or high influence customers in hospitals, large group practices or managed care organizations
  • Demonstrated track record of success and accomplishment with previous Pharmaceutical Sales experience or Healthcare Professional (HCP) experience
  • Exceptional aptitude for learning and ability to communicate technical and scientific product and disease management information to a wide range of customers
  • Demonstrated high degree of business acumen
  • Proficiency using complex digital applications and ability to adapt to Pfizer’s long-range technology model
  • Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
  • U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available for this role now or in the future
  • Position requires permanent work authorization in the United States
