Job Description
Senior Director at Gartner guiding global CIOs on I&O strategies and best practices. Developing insights and collaborating with clients to drive strategic decisions in technology.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as an authority on I&O strategy for CIOs
- Advise CIOs on modernizing enterprise platforms
- Deliver research and recommendations on infrastructure technologies
- Analyze industry trends and forecast future risks
- Present I&O research and thought leadership to clients
- Support clients in evaluating and selecting I&O vendors
- Collaborate with other Gartner Analysts to develop comprehensive research
- Create innovative insights content
- Develop in-depth analysis to identify root causes of clients' needs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred
- 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience as CIO or Head of Infrastructure
- Strong organizational skills; ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high quality deliverables
- Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing data; can effectively apply patterns and frameworks while drawing and defending conclusions to client challenges
- Subject matter expertise; comfortable presenting at large and small-scale speaking engagements
- Ability to work independently, while also being intrinsically motivated to collaborate across teams and support the workflow of others
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% (where applicable)
