Job Description

Senior Project Manager leading high-risk wind-turbine corrective campaigns for GE Vernova, which electrifies and decarbonizes the energy system. Owning customer portfolios, catastrophic rebuilds, finances, vendors, and execution across North America.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic execution leader for complex, high-risk, and high-value wind turbine corrective campaigns across North America
  • Own multiple customer portfolios and major corrective workstreams, including MCU, blade services, Liftra crane-less exchanges, and fleet reliability campaigns
  • Deliver customer satisfaction, financial performance, vendor management, scope execution, resource alignment, and operational excellence
  • Champion safety, quality, compliance, EHS performance, corrective action closure, prevailing wage compliance, certified payroll governance, and audit readiness
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action planning for major events
  • Serve as primary operational contact for assigned customer portfolios and build executive-level customer relationships
  • Lead business reviews, project reviews, corrective action discussions, customer escalations, and recovery planning
  • Develop customer-specific execution strategies and identify opportunities to improve fleet reliability and availability
  • Own execution strategy and financial performance across major corrective workstreams and catastrophic rebuilds
  • Direct large-scale site activities, heavy-lift crane logistics, construction teams, and specialized repair crews
  • Coordinate acquisition of long-lead major components to minimize downtime
  • Own site risk mitigation plans for hazardous environments and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Provide status updates on multi-million-dollar repair budgets and recovery timelines to vendors and internal leadership
  • Manage project and portfolio budgets, financial risks, change orders, recovery efforts, pricing, scope development, working capital, invoicing, and closeout
  • Own strategic contractor and vendor relationships and lead scorecard and performance improvement initiatives
  • Lead execution reviews, optimize resource utilization, remove bottlenecks, support workforce planning, and drive standardization
  • Mentor Project Managers and Associate Project Managers and support succession planning, hiring, onboarding, and performance management
  • Lead lessons learned and continuous improvement activities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Project Management, or equivalent field experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing wind energy, heavy industrial, construction, outage, or major maintenance projects
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex MCU, blade, or large corrective maintenance campaigns
  • Experience managing customer relationships and contractor workforces
  • Strong financial acumen in forecasting, budgeting, margin management, and change order recovery
  • Knowledge of crane operations, lift planning, logistics coordination, and field execution
  • Experience operating within prevailing wage environments
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred
  • Experience managing Liftra operations preferred
  • Experience leading catastrophic response programs preferred
  • Experience supporting utility-scale renewable energy fleets preferred
  • Multi-site portfolio management experience preferred
  • Experience leading customer business reviews and contract execution discussions preferred
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
