Job Description

Senior ServiceNow Developer creating complex ServiceNow applications at Verdantas. Engaging in project leadership and technical guidance while enhancing workflows and integrations.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex ServiceNow applications, including custom scoped apps, modules, and advanced configurations
  • Build and enhance workflows, Flow Designer flows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, Script Includes, and custom widgets
  • Develop integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, IntegrationHub, and automation tools
  • Implement and maintain ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB) and extend into ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, and CSM as needed
  • Configure and maintain Service Portal/Employee Service Center interfaces, catalog items, and record producers
  • Provide architectural guidance on ServiceNow design, performance standards, and long-term platform strategy
  • Ensure code quality through peer reviews, reusable code patterns, and best-practice implementation
  • Maintain platform security, ACLs, roles, and data protection policies
  • Manage update sets, system migrations, and release planning across non-prod and production instances
  • Support CMDB architecture, data model design, and CI class normalization
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure accurate CI data and integration health
  • Lead technical implementation efforts for new modules and cross-functional ServiceNow projects
  • Partner with process owners to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements
  • Provide mentorship to junior developers and administrators
  • Perform system testing, future automated testing, validation, and regression review
  • Assist in resolving advanced platform issues, defects, and integration problems
  • Ensure change management practices are followed for all platform deployments

Requirements:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • 5-7+ years of ServiceNow development experience in medium-to-large enterprise environments
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, and ServiceNow scripting best practices
  • Hands-on experience with: ITSM Suite (Incident, Problem, Change, Request); CMDB & Discovery; IntegrationHub & API integrations; Service Portal development
  • Deep knowledge of ServiceNow data structures, ACLs, roles, and security models
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development cycles
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
