Job Description

Senior Talent Partner owning strategic UK hiring across AI, infrastructure, software engineering, product, and leadership. Building technical talent networks and partnering directly with founders and senior leaders.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and support hiring across strategic technical roles in the UK, particularly AI/Machine Learning, Infrastructure & Compute, Software Engineering, Product, Leadership and other strategic hires
  • Work directly with founders and senior leaders to understand hiring needs rather than simply execute against open-position lists
  • Develop strong relationships within the UK AI and technology ecosystem
  • Build long-term networks of engineers, founders, operators and technical leaders
  • Attend and help identify relevant meetups, conferences and industry events
  • Create relationships with people who may not be actively looking for their next role
  • Identify creative ways to reach exceptional people
  • Understand the company’s technical work and have credible conversations with highly technical candidates

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Talent Partnering, executive search or a similar role
  • Strong experience recruiting technical profiles in the UK
  • Good understanding of the UK technology ecosystem
  • Experience recruiting within AI, ML, infrastructure, cloud, developer tools or another highly technical environment
  • Ability to engage credibly with senior engineers, technical leaders and founders
  • A strong network — or clear evidence that you know how to build one
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup where roles and priorities evolve quickly
  • Able to work autonomously and make decisions without waiting for multiple layers of validation
  • Open to occasionally supporting broader People topics beyond recruitment
  • Strong ownership mentality: when you see something that needs doing, you help make it happen
  • Existing network within the AI / ML ecosystem (nice to have)
  • Experience in an early-stage or high-growth startup (nice to have)
  • Exposure to UK People Ops, employment or benefits topics (nice to have)
  • Experience recruiting within the ML/AI space (nice to have)

Benefits:

  • Remote-first collective, meeting in person twice a year to plan, brainstorm, celebrate wins, and enjoy face-to-face time
  • Core hours for cooperative working and calls, with flexible scheduling outside those hours
  • Real downtime after big release cycles to unplug and recharge
  • Generous paid time off — vacation, sick days, public holidays
  • Remote-first setup — work from home anywhere we can employ you
  • Flexible hours — own your schedule outside core collaboration blocks
  • Paid maternity, paternity, and caregiver leave
  • Company retreats — twice-yearly gatherings in inspiring locations
