Job Description

Senior Technical Recruiter managing full-cycle recruiting for technical roles at Alvys. Partnering with Engineering, Product, and Design leaders to enhance hiring processes in the freight industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end recruiting for technical roles across Engineering, Product, and Design
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to define role requirements, ideal candidate profiles, and hiring timelines
  • Manage candidates through the full lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and close
  • Proactively source passive technical talent using LinkedIn, Greenhouse, referrals, and creative sourcing strategies
  • Build and maintain strong pipelines for current and future technical hiring needs
  • Develop market insights around talent availability, compensation expectations, and hiring trends
  • Act as a trusted advisor to technical leaders on hiring strategy, interview design, and decision-making
  • Provide data-driven guidance on tradeoffs between speed, quality, and leveling
  • Ensure interview panels are effective, consistent, and candidate-friendly
  • Own technical recruiting workflows in our ATS, ensuring data accuracy and clean reporting
  • Continuously improve recruiting processes, interview practices, and candidate experience
  • Track and report on key metrics (time-to-hire, pipeline health, conversion rates, etc.)
  • Deliver a thoughtful, transparent, and welcoming candidate experience
  • Serve as an ambassador for Alvys’ culture, values, and mission throughout the hiring process
  • Partner with People and Marketing on employer branding initiatives as needed

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in full cycle technical recruiting, ideally in a high-growth SaaS or startup environment
  • Proven experience recruiting for software engineering and technical roles
  • Strong sourcing skills with a track record of hiring passive candidates
  • Hands-on experience using Application Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Ability to influence and partner with senior technical stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
