Job Description
Senior Technical Project Manager overseeing technical project management for iFood, a leading Latin American tech company.
Responsibilities:
- Orchestrate the application of the Management Model, ensuring a cadence of follow-ups (FUPs), monitoring of metrics, and hands-on problem solving.
- Influence and empower developers, tech leads and leadership, ensuring adherence to processes and consistent results.
- Translate technical challenges into execution plans, engaging with engineering teams on architecture, integrations, pipelines and delivery quality.
- Navigate across hierarchical levels, foster alignment between areas and address conflicts with clarity and objectivity.
- Act as the anchoring point between Engineering, Risk and Product, ensuring that critical monitoring and compliance processes evolve in a secure and scalable manner.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a technical project manager or Technical Program Manager, with an influencing profile and an impact-oriented mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement processes and frameworks from scratch, especially in complex engineering environments (distributed services, pipelines, integrations).
- Technical knowledge to engage with developers on tools such as Databricks, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, observability and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with Cyber Security, Risk, Regulations or Financial Services topics (BACEN, AML, SCD, Pix, etc.).
- Strong communication, influencing and prioritization skills, with high autonomy and systems thinking.
