Job Description
ServiceNow Developer implementing Hardware Asset Management functionality at iTech AG. Supporting lifecycle management of IT hardware assets and ensuring compliance with established governance standards.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and implement ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) functionality, including asset models, lifecycle states, and normalization rules.
- Develop and maintain HAM workflows and automation supporting hardware request, approval, deployment, transfer, and retirement processes.
- Integrate hardware asset data with the ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring alignment with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
- Configure and validate integrations with discovery and inventory sources (e.g., SCCM, ServiceNow Discovery, data imports).
- Establish and maintain relationships between hardware assets and configuration items to support ITOM Visibility and CMDB accuracy.
- Implement data quality, reconciliation, and governance controls to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of hardware asset data.
- Support testing, defect resolution, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for HAM functionality.
- Develop and support HAM dashboards, reports, and documentation to enable operational visibility and stakeholder reporting.
- Participate in knowledge transfer and training activities, supporting long-term sustainment and operational readiness.
Requirements:
- 5–8 years of overall IT experience.
- 3–5 years of hands-on ServiceNow implementation experience.
- Direct experience implementing ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) in an enterprise environment.
- Strong experience with ServiceNow asset tables and CMDB Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer Import Sets, Transform Maps, and integrations.
- Experience working in regulated or government environments (DOE, federal, or equivalent) is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-team, matrixed project environment.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- ServiceNow CSA.
- ServiceNow CIS-HAM.
- ServiceNow CAD is preferred.
