Job Description
Social & Content Manager shaping MERGE’s health-and-wellness marketing and technology agency brand. Owning social strategy, content creation, community, employee advocacy, and performance analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Set the strategic direction and execute MERGE’s corporate social strategy, primarily on LinkedIn and Instagram
- Develop content calendars, templates, and repeatable formats aligned with agency priorities, client announcements, events, and thought leadership
- Write captions and content in a cohesive, distinctly human MERGE voice
- Create and publish platform-native content, including writing, designing, and editing in-platform
- Collaborate with creative and design teams on video, campaigns, and brand moments
- Track trends, formats, and cultural moments and adapt relevant ones for MERGE
- Engage followers, monitor conversations, and cultivate the brand community
- Lead and grow MERGE’s Employee Advocacy Program
- Collaborate with practice areas, ERGs, and PR to identify and align stories and cultural moments
- Manage social platforms, scheduling tools, vendors, renewals, and new-feature adoption
- Track channel performance, report to leadership, and refine content using data
Requirements:
- 5+ years managing corporate or agency social media, ideally B2B, with a portfolio of content and communities grown
- Culture-forward perspective and fluency in platform-native formats on LinkedIn and Instagram
- Strong B2B and social-forward copywriting skills
- Hands-on fluency with Adobe for building and editing social assets
- Experience with scheduling and social-management tools
- Fluency with AI and LLM tools
- Scrappy, autonomous, self-motivated, and resourceful; able to run work end to end while juggling multiple priorities
- Community and advocacy experience; prior advocacy-program or brand-community management is a plus
- Comfortable with analytics and turning performance into improved content
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or equivalent practical experience
- US work authorization without current or future visa sponsorship requirement
