Job Description
Solutions Engineer helping Cisco customers use Splunk’s data analytics and monitoring platform. Translating technical solutions for business needs and supporting customer sales engagements.
Responsibilities:
- Become familiar with the Splunk product line through observatory sessions with tenured Solutions Engineers
- Partner with a tenured Solutions Engineer while they work
- Shadow customer calls
- Assist with presentation development, workshops and technical concept proof events
- Help account teams move customers toward closing sales
- Meet weekly with the team, manager and mentors to discuss learning
- Develop presentation skills and prepare to present technical concepts to customers
- Discover and understand customer needs
- Collaborate with peers to develop a knowledge resource for incoming Solutions Engineers in training
- Evangelize Splunk products and services to customers
- Serve as the technical member and trusted advisor of the Customer Account Team
- Translate Splunk technology for business audiences and help identify solutions for customer business scenarios
Requirements:
