Job Description

Specialty Account Representative driving hematology/oncology pharmaceutical sales for Pharmacosmos Therapeutics. Managing complex healthcare accounts, territory strategy, stakeholder relationships, and sales objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed all territory sales objectives
  • Prepare and complete territory business plans
  • Implement marketing strategies and utilize approved resources with key stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Maintain and expand the customer base by building rapport with key customers and identifying new opportunities
  • Implement national and regional initiatives
  • Apply the Pharmacosmos selling process across multiple products and brand strategies
  • Maintain proficiency in products, markets, disease states, complex customer types, competing products, and the product portfolio
  • Apply account management knowledge to expand business opportunities
  • Target accounts using knowledge of buy-and-bill, GPO contracting, and distribution-channel dynamics
  • Analyze business information and data, recognize trends, and make informed decisions
  • Evaluate and prioritize business opportunities aligned with corporate objectives and brand strategies
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Training, Market Access, Strategy and Operations, and Medical Affairs
  • Lead conferences, participate in regional and national meetings, and contribute to task-force initiatives
  • Seek performance improvements and develop a career plan with the Regional Sales Director
  • Maintain compliance with corporate policies and government regulations
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree required
  • Minimum 6 years of current pharmaceutical sales experience
  • Minimum 3 years of specialty pharmaceutical experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of account-based selling
  • Experience selling an infusion (buy and bill) product
  • General knowledge of and understanding of reimbursement
  • Proven sales success in Hematology/Oncology and hospital accounts or various sites of care in the preferred territory
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and expand relationships with key stakeholders across complex accounts
  • Strong analytical and business acumen
  • Documented track record of meeting/exceeding sales objectives
  • Ability to meet requirement for up to 30% overnight travel
  • Ability to comply with corporate policies, government regulations, employee handbook, and expense policies
  • Requires discretion with confidential data
  • Buy-and-bill and HEM/ONC experience preferred
  • Product launch experience preferred
