Job Description

Sponsorship Sales Executive focused on selling booth space and sponsorships for the Finance and Accounting Tech Expo. Engaging new exhibitors and sponsors while maintaining a high-activity sales pipeline.

Responsibilities:

  • Sell exhibitor booth space and core sponsorship offerings for FATE, with a primary focus on new business / new logos
  • Build and maintain a high-activity pipeline through consistent daily prospecting (phone, email, LinkedIn, and networking)
  • Identify and target technology vendors, service providers, consulting firms, and B2B organizations that sell into CFOs and finance leaders
  • Run a full sales cycle—from outreach and discovery to pricing, contracting, and close—within short to mid-length timelines
  • Hit weekly activity and pipeline targets (calls, emails, meetings set) and deliver against monthly/quarterly revenue goals
  • Clearly communicate event value and ROI using audience insights (attendee profiles, demographics, engagement metrics, past exhibitor outcomes)
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, manage pipeline stages, and forecast performance with consistency and discipline
  • Attend FATE and select industry events to develop leads, set meetings, and close business (as needed)
  • Ability to upsell into larger sponsorships, branded activations, or limited custom packages when there’s a clear fit.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in event/expo, sponsorship, media, conference, or membership sales
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect hard, open doors, and close in a quota-driven environment (hunter mindset)
  • Experience selling booth space, event packages, or similar B2B offerings is strongly preferred
  • Comfortable with high-volume outbound; strong phone presence, confident cold calling, and persistent follow-up
  • Strong objection handling, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Organized and process-driven; able to manage a pipeline and execute daily activity without heavy oversight
  • Experience with CRM tools and LinkedIn Sales Navigator (or similar prospecting tools)
  • Willingness to travel to FATE and select industry events (approximately 5–8 times per year)

Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary with uncapped commissions
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Remote Work/Flexibility
  • Career Development and Advancement
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • 401(k) and Health Savings Accounts (HAS)
