Job Description

Membership Sales Representative responsible for driving new member acquisition and supporting community growth. Engage with brands, retailers, and agencies in the B2B sales environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive new member acquisition and support the growth of our community across brands, retailers, agencies, and solution providers.
  • Proactively identify and recruit new member companies across retailer, CPG brands, agencies, and solution provider categories.
  • Conduct consistent multi-channel outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, industry events, and referrals.
  • Use a consultative sales approach to identify business challenges and align membership solutions to client needs.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospective member companies while accurately tracking activity and forecasting in CRM.
  • Deliver compelling virtual and in-person membership presentations and discovery meetings.
  • Support annual membership renewal efforts and identify opportunities for account upgrades.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with assigned members to ensure satisfaction and platform engagement.
  • Encourage member participation in events, webinars, research, and networking programs.
  • Attend industry events to network, build relationships, and uncover new sales opportunities.
  • Work closely with editorial, events, marketing, and success teams to champion member success.

Requirements:

  • Background in B2B sales, membership sales, media sales, or business development.
  • Proven consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills with the confidence to pitch C-suite executives.
  • High degree of organization with a track record of consistent follow-up and CRM pipeline management.
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
  • Prior experience or familiarity with the retail, CPG, shopper marketing, or retail media industries is a strong plus.
  • Willingness to travel to select company and industry events as needed.
